There are many tasks where lawyers can use AI & assess, explain, & build on output. Examples: Ask AI to improve a paragraph, locate provision in a document, suggest additional contract language, flag ambiguities, simplify a document, summarize familiar area of law, or adapt a well known template.

As one of many submitting an AI focused law review article, I’m biased…But editors’ reluctance to accept too many articles on one topic shouldn’t apply to AI, which is going to fundamentally challenge innumerable areas of law, meaning now is the time we should be studying this.
