That’s not to say that shallow depth of field isn’t an issue. My theory is that its rapidly increased since people started making stuff on the Volume, where having a blurry background hides that you’re watching a fake background built in a computer game engine.

The short depth of field and teal-and-orange colour grading in the second series of Ludwig is nowhere near as bad as some of you are letting on. I’ve seen far, far worse examples in the last year.
