The greatest challenge for many farmers isn’t growing food — it’s managing it after harvest. Post-harvest losses claim 13% of food before it even reaches retail (FAO). In Sub-Saharan Africa, that figure hits 23%. We already produce enough to feed the world. The real crisis is what we lose.

ICYMI: Another humpback whale was recently found entangled in fishing gear off the West Coast. Thankfully, rescuers were able to free the whale, which then swam free. This incident follows another entanglement of a humpback calf in the area in August. These entanglements are preventable.
