Anglicare Tasmania's Rental Affordability Snapshot measures whether people on low incomes can afford a rental in the private market by examining all rental properties listed on realestate.com.au and Flatmates.com.au ona specific weekend in March every year.
Released on Thursday, the 2026 snapshot showed there were just 770 properties available during the period in question.
