When someone is shown to be abusive? They should be shown the door. Right then and there. There are too many talented people in this world. Why waste time on damage control for someone who will not stop damaging others? Invest in someone new.

This is how you know insurance companies are evil. The ROI on every single vaccine is orders of magnitude more than up front cost (think prevented cirrhosis, cancer, surgeries, hospitalizations, etc). The only reason they wouldn’t cover vaccines is if they don’t plan to cover the consequences either

Might I suggest what you want to remember you were doing the day after an American concentration camp opened in your lifetime is not arguing online about the camp’s name, but directly asking one person you trust what you could do together to help close the camp.

BREAKING: Here is the opinion: www.wicourts.gov/sc/opinion/D...
11
REBECCA FRANK DALLET, J. In Dobbs o. Jackson Women's
Health Organization, 597 U.S. 215, 231 (2022), the United States Supreme Court overruled decades of precedent including Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113
(1973), and held for the first time that the United States Constitution does not protect the right to abortion. In the wake of that decision, Plaintiffs filed this lawsuit seeking a declaration that Wis. STAT. § 940.04(1) (2023-
KAUL v. URMANSKI
Opinion of the Court
24)'—a statute dating back to 1849 that criminalizes the intentional destruction of an unborn child - does not ban abortion.
42 We conclude that comprehensive legislation enacted over the last 50 years regulating in detail the "who, what, where, when, and how" of abortion so thoroughly covers the entire subject of abortion that it was meant as a substitute for the 19th century near-total ban on abortion.
Accordingly, we hold that the legislature impliedly repealed § 940.04(1) as to abortion, and that § 940.04(1) therefore does not ban abortion in the State of Wisconsin.

Sad to hear of the passing of #DisabilityJustice activist and visionary Patty Berne. #SinsInvalid reminds us: “As we grieve, please care for each other in the ways Patty taught us: Check in on a friend. Cook a meal. Support someone at the edge. Practice Disability Justice in real time.”
A bright illustration of Patty Berne,a Japanese-Haitian person with light brown skin, who smiles playfully with love and light shining from their brown eyes. They wear an off the shoulder opalescent blue dress and an amethyst pendant. Their brown hair is pulled back into their signature two buns. Behind Patty is a pink background with radiant red and yellow flowers. At the top of the image, iridescent capital letters spell out “PATTY LIVES THROUGH US.” On the bottom right corner is Sins Invalid’s logo, a black rectangular box with white letters that read “Sins Invalid.”

NEW: A federal court in NYC just ruled that Secretary Noem's decision to "partially vacate" Secretary Mayorkas' decision to extend TPS for Haiti was unlawful. This would restore the original expiration date of February 3, 2026, and potentially overrule Noem's recent decision to terminate it.
Balancing the equities, plaintiffs’ injuries far outweigh any harm to the Government from a postponement. Without a postponement, plaintiffs face the termination of Haiti’s TPS designation on September 2, 2025 and the subsequent loss of their legal right to live and work in the United States, despite this Court’s finding that Secretary Noem’s partial vacatur of Haiti’s TPS designation was unlawful. Other than the Executive Branch’s right to engage in foreign relations activities and enforce the nation’s immigration laws within the bounds Congress has set, which remains intact, the Government identifies no other harms to the public interest, other interested people, or the Government itself that would result from the postponement of Secretary Noem’s partial vacatur.
