Idk what non-profit needs to hear this, but don’t call people after they update their payment method for monthly donations solely to tell them that while you appreciate the donation, it actually doesn’t go very far and they can actually be doing more than they already have been (for almost 10 yrs).

Was at Panera today for monthly book club, walked out and learned a worker had been shot in the restaurant right next to us 15 ft away 3 minutes earlier (1st responders hadn’t arrived on scene yet). Witnesses said shooter looked like a kid who immediately ran off. Just heartbreaking (and scary).

My company offered me a promotion and starting salary, I countered with $1-2,000 more, and they offered me $1,500 more to their original offer. I accepted lol. This was so stressful; 1st time I’ve ever had to determine my own starting salary lol (I ended on the higher end of where they start people)
