So a women's centre supported me a back in 2023. The support was invaluable. I was treated like every other women. With true compassion and empathy. In the real world outside the fantasy land of bad faith actors, cis women support trans people. Why? Because they view us as equal human beings.

Coming out as ace is really interesting in that it can show you how the person you're talking to views sex. Some people assumed I was aro as well bc they can't separate sex and romance. People with internalized misogyny reveal it, wrt sex as an obligation we must provide if we want love.

The problem in the UK is that municipalities are not adding gender neutral restrooms because they suddenly started caring about non-binary or intersex people. Nor because they recognize these additional benefits. It's entirely a response to the horrible EHRC ruling pushing trans segregation.
