Just wanna add to the destigmatization: I live with bipolar type 2 disorder. Less severe mood swings, but it tends to cycle more often and I have what's called rapid cycling. I work full time as a machinist, I create music, and I contribute joy, love, and support to as many people as I can.

I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.
