A4: I had a daily (quick) check in with my school social worker and my instructional coach. Also, I had a daily alarm set for 9:30 am. If I was sitting at my desk when it went off, I would get up and take a walk through the school. #LeadLAP

A2: A guiding coalition was my most important asset in leading. But when I had a short term project, goal, or need - I would ask people to join a “task force” for that project. For example, I had a task force take on lunch coach training when we got a new group of lunch coaches. #LeadLAP

Today I worked with a Leadership Team in CA - modeling high leverage tier 1 instructional practices around the 4 critical questions of a PLC for new and newish teachers. Then embedded coaching of the leadership team around goals & culture. I spend a lot of time at this school and am so invested.
