I keep thinking about putting R3 on one of the back paddles of my controller so I can more easily switch from afterburner to ramjet in Galactic Racer, but there's something so chunky about having to reach over to activate the super dangerous boost that I can't bring myself to do it.

I was regularly surprised at how norwegian houses/flats (at least in the city) are so cramped, but they also were all fine with just having 30% of that available space taken up by drying racks for 2-3 days out of every week. i couldn't make it make sense

Ed was in a fucked up position. He knew it. His typical apolitical stance was being challenged in a way it never had been before. He told me that the words
"Free Palestine" and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, "I don't take sides."

the specific issue I'm taking with what you're saying here is that there is an unacknowledged incongruence between the "choosing a sandwich for lunch" analogy, saying "that's all there is to it," etc; and your explicit acknowledgement that an election gives the power of the state to the victor.

why is it no answer? surely, even if you think that people are not entitled to have beliefs that they are loath to compromise, you can concede that elections are not singular events and do not exist in a vacuum, and so are more complex than choosing between something edible and inedible for lunch
