you may have noticed that animation has never been more in-demand & in the zeitgeist and yet, seemingly, never have media conglomerates been less willing to produce it. you may also notice these guys get multimillion dollar severance packages after they gut a studio. there is probably no connection

This was because indigenous folk (Like mine) built up food forest. Things that were razed and destroyed as a part of racist violence. Colonization is ongoing

🖼️ MERCH ARTIST Spotlight 🖼️ Gooooood afternoon! We’re pleased to introduce another Merch Artist in the zine! Please say hi to @valmoxium.bsky.social Val is making some charms/keychains as a lil treat for everyone! #zine #fanzine #jnd #jndzine #jakanddaxter

A holo-screen with a gold tech surrounding it is displayed on top of a burgundy mechanical background. At the very top right above the screen is the title: Contributor Introduction. On the screen shows a preview of a comic page with Jak, Ashelin and Daxter together looking towards the viewer speaking. Ashelin: ‘The council is trying to brush this off as some fluke but I know how inseparable you two are.’ Daxter: ‘Seeing you without my mug in the frame is unsettling…’ Jak: ‘That looks nothing like me, either.’. Over the art on the top right is the title "Merch Artist".
At the bottom of the screen is the name "Valmoxium" with their icon to the left. Underneath is a quote from them in yellow text: "The colorful palette and unconventional environment designs used in the games were what I loved about JnD, but truly it was the unapologetic edginess of the second game that I fell in love with the most.".
Below that at the very bottom is Valmoxium’s socials: Valmoxium @ Bluesky & Tumblr

Started as a little study and became another one of the 'Secret Society of Unpractical Headpieces in Space' series (that still does not exist) 🪐

Illustration by Eleonor Piteira showing a black woman with an elaborate golden headpiece. Her hair is curly and long, she's wearing a dress, and gold and blue make up on her eyes. She is framed by a circle and behind her there is a space view with a star and small planets.

ultimately the problem isnt discord its age verification laws. any platform people would move to away from discord would obviously eventually be big enough to also be under scrutiny from International Lawmakers. thus likely forcing them to implement age verification as well

Portrait of a Black woman smiling as she gazes into the distance, her lips slightly parted to reveal two sharp fangs. She has dark skin, dark hair styled in an undercut and twists, and pointed, elfin ears.

I normally don't do callouts against someone, but with what happened a couple days ago, I have a good reason to call my followers to action! Please report this user named @/FangshiDevil, who thought it would be a fun idea to make r*pe and murder art of my sona. They're malicious and need to go! 💀

FangshiDevil's post in response to Shade's post of her sona; "Sorry I'm late, but I drew a little comic of how I think our songs would interact ^v^"

And four pictures that I had censored of her shitty art of their sona, holding Shade's tail and sleeves taunting her, then beginning to rape her sona, and finally decapitated her head. This was clearly done with malicious intent.

This person likely took this post down themselves, thinking I wouldn't see it!

Cannot put into words how frustrating it is to hear people say "this is my escape from politics, so I don't want to see politics here." It is an immense privileges if you can "escape" politics. People whose entire identities are politicized just by how they look do not have the same benefit.
