This news is important because all the fucks out there actively attempting to wreck the world want you to think that the work is hopeless and just mitigating the worst case scenario. It's not. Fucking keep going.

dreamt bethesda had a new official update for skyrim that lets you add penises to your characters except there was a bug that conflicted with mods that gave characters hooves where it wouldn't show up and you had to cast a spell to fix it

With news of Tapas shutting down, I'd like to thank everyone who supports independent creators on Patreon or elsewhere. You are directly paying for hosting costs that keeps artists from relying on fickle platforms and keep art available for everyone to enjoy.

ultimately the problem isnt discord its age verification laws. any platform people would move to away from discord would obviously eventually be big enough to also be under scrutiny from International Lawmakers. thus likely forcing them to implement age verification as well

Some vampires for #BIPOCVampDay! Aster and Andy are vampires from my comic, Bite Sized. Do check out the event, celebrating BIPOC vampires in media and spreading awareness about sickle cell disease, alongside a virtual blood drive to raise funds. vampirepyramidscheme.com/bipocvampday/

Portrait of my OC Aster, smiling at the viewer and showing their pointy teeth. They have vivid brown skin and long dark hair, with short facial hair. The background is a deep red.

Portrait of a Black woman smiling as she gazes into the distance, her lips slightly parted to reveal two sharp fangs. She has dark skin, dark hair styled in an undercut and twists, and pointed, elfin ears.

I normally don't do callouts against someone, but with what happened a couple days ago, I have a good reason to call my followers to action! Please report this user named @/FangshiDevil, who thought it would be a fun idea to make r*pe and murder art of my sona. They're malicious and need to go! 💀

FangshiDevil's post in response to Shade's post of her sona; "Sorry I'm late, but I drew a little comic of how I think our songs would interact ^v^"

And four pictures that I had censored of her shitty art of their sona, holding Shade's tail and sleeves taunting her, then beginning to rape her sona, and finally decapitated her head. This was clearly done with malicious intent.

This person likely took this post down themselves, thinking I wouldn't see it!

Cannot put into words how frustrating it is to hear people say "this is my escape from politics, so I don't want to see politics here." It is an immense privileges if you can "escape" politics. People whose entire identities are politicized just by how they look do not have the same benefit.

You know, when you find out that the art you like is made by people you've learned hold views you find wholly repugnant, I don't think you need to disavow ever having enjoyed the art. It's okay to acknowledge you liked or loved that art, but are now putting it aside. That was then, this is now.

Ruby Bridges was 6-years-old when she stepped into the history books. Bravely accompanied by her mother, she was the first Black child to desegregate an all-white school in the South. It was not long ago… Today is her birthday. She is still with us. She is 72. Happy birthday, Ruby Bridges 💜

You want queer communist BIPOC trans art but you also want it from people spending millions on propping up fascist regimes. You are a fucking child. Turn off the cartoons and engage with material reality for two seconds. These people are your enemy.

You want diverse art that is complex nuanced and deals with weighty themes? you are not going to get it from the big money companies. you need to embrace art that is unpolished, low budget, rough around the edges, and imperfect.
