Must-read. @idothethinking.bsky.social notes: the @eastbaytimes.com take is absolutely dreadful. Imagine if everyone who is _not_ a captive audience (i.e. those too poor, too disabled, or too outside the law to drive) were driving over the Bay Bridge at peak times? A traffic and climate nightmare.

What does surprise me is that anyone cares what she thinks. On the BART Board she tried again and again to destroy BART. She supported slashing service, was against demand based parking pricing, and opposed transit oriented development. Not someone anyone should listen to about transit policy.

This level of flooding is somewhat normal during king tides, not for mid October. A poorly timed storm this winter will cause a lot of damage, and the @eastbaytimes.com is recommending a no vote on the climate measure (RTM). I'm losing my mind at how much people have their heads in the sand.
