If you think *only* the lower classes are riddled with this mindset you are simply wrong; if you think the *entire* lower class (white or otherwise) is riddled with this mindset you are also wrong.

I know it sounds bad that Gavin Newsom sold out California so Larry Ellison can buy about half of the entire American entertainment industry but to be fair to Newsom, half of that is actually going to be bought by Saudi Arabia

It’s not exactly a surprise but a LOT of people revealed this weekend they don’t see human rights as an actual moral standard but simply another political commodity whose value only matches the political influence of those demanding them. It would be nice if they just admitted it.

Idk who needs to hear this but the biggest coordinated activism in Georgia in decades happened in 2023 when they gathered hundreds of thousands of signatures for a referendum opposing a police training facility in Atlanta—twice—and the Democratic controlled city council simply ignored it
Idk who needs to hear this, but politicians are not activists and stop expecting them to be when that is our job as the people to be the activists

In modern American history has there been a single issue where Republicans consistently hammered Democrats for their position on a topic, Democrats responded by capitulating on it, and then Republicans just… Stopped attacking them over it, does this strategy even exist in reality, seriously asking

this long litany of philosophers saying "you can't think without language" is, however, a long litany of philosophers being wrong about material facts. unsymbolized thought exists. and it existed then too, they just could not introspect enough to realize it. introspection does not reveal the brain.

Like this isn’t some paranoid, conspiracy theory or anything, it’s pretty obvious: Moskowitz, Suozzi, etc. are actively trying to tank a Senate race because they think it will help their own. Jefferies has clearly already learned from Pelosi the prime directive that Schumer won’t do shit about it.

Libs Trying To Last Even an Hour Criticizing Hasan Without Revealing They’re Just Racists Challenge, difficulty level: impossible
Let's consider Hasan Piker's motivations. 1) If he wanted Dems to win he'd lay low til after the midterms; he's a liability now. 2) If he wanted power for himself, he'd lay low, let El-Sayed win, then call in favors for helping him in the primary.

So why can't Hasan shut up?

Hasan: you’re right. i’m shuttering my operations because aipac dems and the gop are falsely labeling me an antisemite. we are done from here on out. no more organizing, i’m going on a 65 day vacation. no more news coverage. no more tweets. what the fuck are you saying lmaoHasan, we're saying that Americans want democracy and your juvenile grandstanding is fucking it up for us.

Why don't you take a little vacation in Turkey where you grew up and advocate for the genocide victims there. Like he Armenians? And the Kurds? Go help them out for awhile.

You can’t deploy Hasan Piker aggressively in factional primaries and then turn around after you win and say “why is everyone talking about Hasan Piker.” If you don’t want people to talk about him, don’t campaign with him!!

The situation in Haiti is terrifying. On Sunday, 150 gunmen swept down on a town to kill, rape, loot, and burn. 22 people were executed in a churchyard. 52 were taken hostage. Stephen Miller mockingly says Haiti is safe and ICE just sent its second deportation flight this month; with kids on board.
They arrived in silence, under cover of darkness, heavily armed as they surrounded the town and moved through Kenscoff’s rugged terrain and towering forests in the mountains above the Haitian capital. Numbering around 150, the gunmen swept through several locations as they made their way toward the center of the town, opening fire on resident who tried to flee. At least 13 people were shot and killed as the gunmen ran through downtown, according to an account by the United Nations human rights office. As more than 50 others sought refuge in L’Arche de la Nouvelle Alliance, a Protestant church that had been sheltering people already displaced by the violence, the gunmen pursued them. When they arrive, they forced residents from the church and executed 22 of them in its courtyard. A dozen others were killed behind the sanctuary. The attackers didn’t just stop there. Before withdrawing from downtown, an area encompassing City Hall and a Haiti National Police substation, they abducted at least 52 people, including a mother and her five children, as well as another mother and her infant. Children and elderly who could not run were killed inside their homes. Others were burned alive after gunmen set at least a dozen houses on fire, witnesses told the National Human Rights Defense Network. The attackers also shot horses and other livestock inside the rural enclave.

This is frankly what far more perspective Democratic presidential candidates should be emphasizing as we enter the 2028 season. You need to make these people scared now. You need to make it clear the party will be over in two years, and that’s probably not fast enough to build a hotel.

Cory started hyperventilating when he realized he was late to the "Lie About Antisemitism to Help the Fascists Win" orgy.

Cory Booker
@CoryBooker
Hasan Piker’s dangerous and hateful language targeting Jewish Americans has no place in our civic discourse. Suggesting that Jewish Americans bear responsibility for hatred or violence directed against them is wrong, dangerous, and antisemitic.

We can, and should, argue fiercely over policy. We should have meaningful dialogue and debate about the policies and actions of the Israeli government and American foreign policy. That is the lifeblood of democracy. But that’s not what this is.

No American should be told that their political beliefs make them responsible for hatred or violence directed against them. There is a bright line between vigorous debate and rhetoric that stokes hatred toward our neighbors. Mr. Piker has crossed that line, repeatedly and unmistakably.

This is, quite literally, the exact point Hasan Piker has been making on a near daily basis for almost three years. It is impossible to be this unwillfully ignorant, and so the only conclusion must be, once again, that libs are simply mad a leftist Muslim is saying it.
We can't create a permission structure for the targeting of Jews due to the actions of Israel - which is antisemitic - and there can be no place for rhetoric normalizing violence in our politics.

All Democrats should separate themselves from Piker. He's a gift to Republicans.
