Taziki’s was one of my Go-To lunch spots when I drove rideshare. Good protein for cheap. You can sit there for a few extra minutes in the air conditioning. Stores are clean, friendly employees. Could use the restroom, & get refills of water. Pretty clutch set of amenities for rideshare drivers.

Looks like their population spiked during Railroad era 1880-1910 & again after the hospital was built in 1969. It’s understandable towns look for BIG investments to save them. But it’s the quality of the town that will eventually attract those things. Gotta love yourself before others will ❤️ u

Listened to this episode this morning. I learned the Frist is not a collecting museum which means their art on display is always rotating. As opposed to some other museums which have a mix of permanent & rotating collections.

NES incompetence caused several people to freeze to death in their homes. They knew the electricity wasn’t coming back on but they withheld that info so ppl stayed and froze in their homes. CEO kept her job. Now they’re taking revenge on all of Nashville by indiscriminately mauling our trees.

⬇️ if your city is trying to build ‘artist housing’ it’s already lost the plot. Build housing of all shapes and sizes & let people live where they want. As well as subsidizing housing for those who can’t afford market prices.

This is getting into the realm of ‘Fantasy street planner’. But I think this intersection at Gallatin & Douglas could take a few feet from the West side to either add a 4’ bike lane on each side or just make the sidewalks 8-10’ on both sides. Or 6-8’ sidewalks with trees 🌳 in the buffers.

East side of Gallatin at Douglas. No room to expand on this side.

West side of Gallatin pike at Douglas. A little bit of room available to expand the road to accommodate more ped and bike infrastructure.
