FA is one of the few places online that - loads (underline this twice) - has a gallery format - has a new submissions page - does not allow AI - has real breathing humans I can contact - honestly I just find furry art joyful and inclusive

TLDR: Fur Affinity's advertising partners are demanding that they ban adult content. Sciggles and FA want to firmly tell them to go fuck themselves. If they're going to be able to afford to do that, they need the community's help. Pitch in. Keep furry weird. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...

I think my favorite gag in portal isn't any particular joke or bit. It's the continued treatment of "testing" as some vague, ephemeral idea. What are they testing exactly? Who knows. Who cares. You're testing. Do the test. Aperture needs to keep testing.

lrp current day social media has devolved into something frankly bad let's not sugarcoat it but the fact remains that community platforms and the ability to bond with people who share similar interests has probably saved many people's lives. it has saved mine for sure

I feel like there's a cohort of us who got on the internet before "social media" and made all sorts of healthy friendships through forums or livejournal or what have you and thus, while everyone's like SOCIAL MEDIA FUELS COMPARISON AND MISERY we're like, but that's just where my friends live.

I dont think you invented this. this has been an internet adage for a very long time. Furthermore, adding it to the respective fandom wikis isn't likely to be of much help, as the people taking shitposts at face value arent reading them but rather they're too busy replying seriously to random jokes

I like silvaze. Its fun for me as a fan. I dont need official to make them an actual love story. I want them well characterized, competent and insipiring. More of their said sync and what makes them special to each other as a team. That doesnt conflict with what I do for fun as a fan.
