I work in marketing. If I weren't Extremely Online and exposed to queer culture of all sorts, I wouldn't know what the other use for the word "strap." I would dearly love to be there if the creator of this ad is ever told. (The strap in the ad is a clever adjustable band for transporting stuff.)

Hypothesis, perhaps not particularly original: the unpopular push for AI Everything wasn't timed right or the technology hasn't gotten good enough yet--people still find bystander video credible (if sometimes skeptically) in a way they might not if AI Everywhere had already destroyed trust in video.

On Christmas, my younger daughter gave me three albums for my new-to-me but ancient record player: Surfer Rosa, Live at Folsom Prison, and the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack. I nearly cried at the feeling of being seen and known by my now (barely) adult child. Music has so much power.

10 years post-divorce and I just deleted a couple hundred 20 year old pics my ex had on our shared computer that somehow migrated into my Google Photos account. Pics of the elementary school kids she taught one year, of her sister's vacation and brother's house build in progress. Weirdly freeing.
