Gaming PCs that are functionally the same as consoles and only cost a $100-$200 more. You dont need to sink $3k on a PC, I got a prebuilt for $900 that works perfect for gaming.

The difference being its free online play, 10s of thousands of games from more then just the current console lifespan, good sales, and when a game is removed from the marketplace you can still access it. But yeah, other then that its just the same.
