An ExUnit on_exit callback runs in another process, so self() inside it is not the test PID. Capture the original PID when cleanup uses it as an ownership key. The test process will already be gone when the callback runs. elixirdrops.net/d/i4LKDQFf #elixir #exunit

TIL `Phoenix.PubSub.subscribe` is not idempotent; if your process calls it twice for a given topic, you'll get two notifications for each message posted to it. Or... if you call it 4,000 times, once on each update to your LiveComponent, you'll get 4,000 messages. Ask me how I know. 🫠 #ElixirLang

If I have a function named `safe_text_to_html`, does that mean it accepts only text that you, the programmer, can vouch for being safe already... or that it takes text of unknown provenance and *makes* it safe? Similarly, is it unsafe to call `unsafe_text_to_html`, or does it *make* the text safe?
