C’est ce qu’a déclaré Erwan Balanant, rapporteur de la commission d’enquête parlementaire sur les violences sexuelles dans le milieu de la culture.
Et cette phrase résonne comme un point de bascule.

Aujourd’hui, après six mois d’auditions, l’Assemblée nationale publie un rapport accablant :
les violences sexuelles dans la culture sont systémiques.
Cinéma, audiovisuel, spectacle vivant, mode, publicité : des secteurs gangrenés par l’impunité, le silence, la précarité, et les abus de pouvoir.

Des membres de MeTooMedia ont témoigné.
Devant les député·es. À visage découvert. Malgré la peur, malgré les risques.
Elles et ils ont fait preuve d’un courage infini. Leur parole a fissuré l’omerta.

Ce rapport, c’est aussi celui de toutes celles et ceux qui ont osé parler.

Aujourd’hui, plus personne ne peut dire qu’il ne savait pas. Et plus personne ne doit pouvoir se taire.
