Very funny timing having just read all of Mighty Thor not too long ago. Would've preferred Agent Venom with Carnage already in the roster but solid first DLC line-up

Here to report that Biddy Blas has become my new hyperfixation

Coyote vs Acme is great and very weird but I did find most of the Looney Tunes looking like Fortnite models too distracting. X-Men is very quaint by today's standards and interesting as the movie where it all started.

Been a minute because I only watched 1 movie last month. Anyway add a extra half star to Digger.

The funniest thing was before the movie the trailer for Wicker played to a lot of very confused audience members

The Messi is Goku and Ronaldo is Vegeta comparison has lived rent free in my brain for years and these couple of days have really hammered it home.

Tom van Vledder @tvvledder.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

The contrast between Messi playing for Argentina one last time to Ronaldo's temper tantrum and now insane statement effectively retiring him from Portugal's national team is something great books will be written about.

Got a annual sub for Unlimited not even 3 months ago. Very cool

Digger is one of those films where I would've welcomed more discourse other than it crashing and burning at the box office because boy has that film not left my head since I've seen it.

Gonna be sitting in my bed staring at the ceiling trying to make sense of Digger and going mad as a result. I think I liked it? Or maybe just the audacity of it. Weird fucking movie. Tom Cruise doing some capital A acting in it. Missed that side of him.

There's not a actual parry afaik but the ghost right before the boss fight tells you that you can block the cross by hitting it with yourcweapon

To be fair, the game makes it very clear you're supposed to be parrying it.

Exactly. I am tired of seeing the “I always knew”/“their work was actually bad” takes whenever allegations emerge. Sometimes—often, actually!—bad people find their way into good spaces and make good things. And you’re not better than the folks who were taken advantage of for “always knowing”

Mostly I feel sorry towards his friends and business partners for whom this must feel like such a betrayal. I certainly feels like that to me and I never interacted with him.

I hate that there's a part of me that is trying to rationalize or downplay what he has done because I'm a fan of his work and someone that on the surface seemed admirable and thoughtful

On the one hand good that Grasshopper can be independent again. On the other it seems really hard out there to find investors, especially for those making weird titles.

Genuinely, this is what bothers me the most, it's fundamentally changed my relationship with art where I'm greeting it initially with skepticism and scrutiny, I never want to feel that way about art.

rotating an idea that halo is the defining media franchise of the 21st century. i look at how its been mismanaged for 20 years, no one working on it has a job, its games don't even sell anymore but. they cant let it die. the IP must continue. everything becomes halo on a long enough timeline

I feel Bojack Horseman being the only animated show in there makes me feel they should not have bothered and just make a animated series/anime list later down the line
