My HR Director's attempt to use they/them pronouns turned into complete elimination of all "you" pronouns, as in: "We are offering them a thing, and if they accept, they will start next week. We will wait to hear from them, and their manager has been informed". Good try, I guess you did your best 😑

It’s a pure fallacy to say that the best way to become immune is by getting infected. Even more bonkers in the case of measles is that the measles virus can wipe out ALL former immunity to other infections, meaning even if you don’t get that sick from measles you’re gonna get sick all the time after

AFGE Local 252, a union that represents Education Department employees, released a statement in which its president, Sheria Smith, said, "We will fight these draconian cuts and urge all Americans to stand up and contact their Members of Congress…to protect the Department of Education's vital work, working people, and our Nation by rejecting these political games."

Minutes later, AFGE Local 252 told NPR that Smith was laid off, along with all five of the chapter's other union officers.

UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is. They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there. They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.
