the 5 year old i babysit for told the mom i was on a ladder adjusting his baby cam when i was actually using the controls on the monitor lol 😭 like dw ma'am u do not need to worry about me and ladders, for i am not brave enough. the day i step up on a ladder is the day the world ends.

literally the doctors in the resident spending like 5 hours brainstorming over the mysterious symptoms of one patient is so unrealistic. conrad was known for being able to figure out what's wrong with almost any patient, and i feel like he would have a field day figuring out my mysterious problems

things have been substantially better at home now that my father is on mood stabilizers. i'm no longer getting yelled at and he is more pleasant to be around :) this is all and all the best possible scenario, as it's no longer miserable to be here and i no longer need to move out ASAP

like this stuff is time sensitive but it's so hard juggling my 300 houseplants, my plant business, and working full time ish. but also the random nausea could maybe be because one of my reproductive organs is atrophic and, according to my gyn, the size of a baby's 💀😬

it kinda sucks having to work around my mysterious nausea that i feel when i'm hungry or otherwise randomly throughout the day. while i was driving home from work i got a whiff of someone's weed and that was enough to make me feel nauseous. i slacked this week on scheduling w/ a genetics counselor

Ughh i woke up early to get to an endocrinologist appointment and it turns out they left me a voicemail saying he was going to be out of office, but I accidentally deleted it. In the haze of everything, I kept getting appointment reminders so I decided just to go. I'm so so tired too

actually it's really not similar to the original series at all. it takes place in the middle of season 1 and season 2. nancy and steve aren't relevant. they add a completely new character to the friend group who feels like someone's self insert character. but? i like it and i support animation 👀

mamdani's free pre-k initiative is so incredibly helpful for parents when pre-k can cost families in indiana, a low COL state, $240-$300 a week. can't even imagine what it would cost in NYC 😱 this is something parents need in order to work and its something a lot ofpeople have to put on credit cards
