I've been playing through SotE and it feels so dense with theme. In particular, I enjoy the way it elaborates on the base game's ideas of creation and the responsibility it brings If Marika is a game developer, Miquella is a disgruntled hacker using exploits to access cut content

Revisiting dark souls 3 over winter break. 2016 was a tough year for me and I never finished it. I've noticed that what I was going through then has diffused into my memories of the levels to some extent. Every corner is just as likely to hide pain or nostalgia as it is an ambush or item.
