Look Nick Cage has always been 100% himself so being anti-AI (or anything synthetic) makes sense. He’s owned cobras, a dinosaur skull, has a pyramid grave, and I once had a conversation with a practitioner in NOLA who said he “practiced voodoo” and then whispered “no one knows what he’s doing”.

Kind of a big deal for the nation’s top health agency to downplay disability, given that you can download these very graphics from the CDC website that highlight the fact that disabilities are quite common & impactful! We should all be asking *why* this admin is suddenly so keen to hide them. 🧪

yeah Gutenberg is pretty great, and one of the other ones on there is apparently volunteer-produced, all-human audiobooks from the Gutenberg collection. the Biodiversity Heritage Library is another favorite of mine for public domain resources specifically in biology!
