very very chill nor'easter Saturday. we've gone for two walks (in between bouts of rain, it was nice!), read, napped, had soup & grilled cheese for lunch, I did some scrapbooking I've been putting off, and we made stock out of a chicken carcass! Next up: chicken noodle soup, couch time, & a show.

what a perfect Sunday. We had my beloved Nan visit yesterday, and a LOVELY night with her and our BFFs, then today was rainy and gross and we went to get the new covid vax, and other than that - god. I had a lovely treadmill run, I did 2 loads of laundry, we changed the sheets, I had a great talk>

I have a weird problem and I keep thinking there HAS to be something I'm not thinking of to solve it. We have a lot of alcohol in the house that we will never drink. Several bottles of chardonnay. A lot of double IPAs, which are not my jam. A great deal of White Claw that no one drinks. I cannot>

L is getting her hair cut and I am in THE MOST HIPSTER PLACE in the entire world. It is a combination coffee shop/barbershop. There are barrels for some seats. There is a communal guitar with a sign that says "Musicians, play us a song." Maybe it's just been a WHILE since I've been in Somerville.

I was on ep 7 (of 10) of S4 of Black Sails and I gaily went down to run this morning and netflix has REMOVED Black Sails as of THIS PAST FRIDAY?? I was furious, I DID find another (temporary - I am good at cancelling 7 day free trials) source, & I immediately bought all of Black Sails on blu-ray.
