I had only one Manglor toy, Manglord, and my dog made short work of him. Still the concept of a toy you could mangle and put back together has always seemed cool to me. Here is a history of the short lived toy line. www.retroist.com/p/manglors

me and my wife watch a lot of youtube "what happened to this store or brand from when you were a kid?" and the answer is almost always "bought with unserviceable debt it was then forced to carry after the people who borrowed took what they wanted until its inevitable collapse"

I love this line. I always imagined the crazy weapons would have explanations - "it's a special bayonet that freezes the acid blood when it stabs them!" Things like that

📺 NEVER SAY NEVER. NBC’s Darkroom (1981) has never been released in the U.S. Now Kino Lorber dug into the Universal vault for a new Blu-ray release—from a 4K restoration! Less than a year after Forgotten TV went Into the Darkroom, too. 😏 Keep digging through those vaults.

Every season, they would change out a few cast members, sometimes mid-season - never OJ though. My favorite was one character got murdered "during the off season" - as each season of the show was a season of football - so he just never was referenced again beyond one line in that episode

real art isn't in the cinema. it's not in books or libraries. it's definitely not in the TV. real art only exists on youtube channels with 3,000 followers where a guy who calls himself MicrowaveBen reviews tv dinners on a strange but internally consistent 7-point scale he calls the Flavornator
