Hey all !! :3

Finally I have finished my new build - and holy smokes it willpower, my teeth, the usually useless Lego separator tool and actual tools and a lot of pain in my fingers and thumbs.

Disclaimer: This is my first time building a Non-Lego technic set and the difficulty spike was actually much higher than I have anticipated.

If I would have to rate it - lets say Lego Technic would be around a 3.5 / 10 this would already be a 7 / 10.

There a some very “illegal” building techniques used you won’t ever see in a normal Lego technic set and some steps require you to push “5” or “6” (length) axles through holes and multiple layers of already build axle holes - which take a lot of force to even push them through.

Also honestly I used much of my mouth and teeth for some steps just to bring up the necessary clamping force since my hands and fingers weren’t enough for the expected force necessary.

Something I liked very much during building is that MK is providing 2 ~30cm carbon fibre axles for the barrel mitigating a lot of the downward drop usually expected by long axles (like for example the Venator Engine axle drops which isn’t even nearly as long as the barrel of this model)

In regards to disassembly: forget to ever disassemble this “mess” of axles, technic studs and beams - so I pray nothing break insides (looking at you elastic bands)

For playing around it is exactly what I would have always wanted in my life: It has a magazine with 5 “bullets”, a manual bolt action, adjustable head and shoulder rests and a bipod and actual technic beam bullets shot out through a functioning trigger.

All in all I actually do liked building it, but wouldn’t want another one to build soon - and for playing around I love it very much.

Specs: MouldKing 14010 AWM Sniper Rifle 1628 pieces 118,5 x 27 x 4,5
