The idea that an RPG handbook NECESSARILY has to be a super pretty artbook will end up killing physical releases due to rising costs. I want simpler, cheaper books that have great writing. Not super aesthetic art books that are expensive as hell.

I take issue with the idea that powerful disciplines ruin Vampire. If Vampire was supposed to be run like D&D, yeah, they could ruin it, but it's not. It's unlikely you can solve a complicated political issue with the use of Dominate or Presence without bringing even more trouble to yourself.

I think Mage the Ascension is better when the theme is liberty to alter reality versus control of reality. I find more interesting questions there than in the "great satire" vision of it, where everyone is wrong, and the Nephandi are the biggest threat. I prefer the Technocracy as the real enemy.

How can we decolonize the pulp adventure genre? Things like Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Tintin, and other examples out there, are deeply rooted in colonialism. They're also beloved stories, and some of their most characteristic elements are found in the otherness of the lands and peoples therein.

It is curious to me that some art criticism seems to judge a work based on the reactions it would cause on "the audience," which is usually a separate entity from the critic themselves. In DREAM KEEPER, you play people who suffer nightmares.
The things that threaten you in the waking world are the nightmares that torment you during the night.
Everyone has nightmares. Sometimes, they attack your loved ones’ dreamworlds, and they, as their dreamworlds’ masters, need help against them. Be them your friends, your family, or your significant other. Only you, and a few others, might help.
Your loved ones’ hearts beckon for those who share a big part of it, and you must come to aid them from your own dreamworld:
You become a Dream Keeper, and you shall face the nightmares!
Dream Keeper is a game about Introspection, Empathy, Valor, and Help, that plays out through the medium of raw imagination. It's a game in which you team up with your friends to vanquish your characters’ greatest fears. However, this is a fight that requires valor. Fighting the nightmares is always scary, and doesn't always end well. Build your own dreamworld dictated only by your imagination, and protect it against the endless hordes of nightmares that come from its unexplored regions. Use your imagination to face them and pacify them. You're in a dream! Use the power of Fantasiomancy to make your wildest dreams appear and help you in the struggle.
We are dream Keepers, and we vanquish the night!
