Overall, using a pre-recorded outro is very helpful, I don't have to say "like and subscribe and hit that bell icon to join the notification squad" at the end of every video, but i do need to end with a semi-conclusive transitional line that says "this part of the video is over, but there's more."

Horror is a very interesting fandom in that it's got a lot of people who who seem like like the *idea* of liking horror a lot more than they like horror and want to seem significantly more educated on the topic than they are.

Random thought I had while watching the music video for Modern Rocketry's "Homosexuality."

I just had an interestingly unpleasant thought. When I see a man with his arm lovingly around another man's waist, my brain recognizes "Ah yes, that's like me and my partner." And obviously homophobes don't experience that realization, but what if it's not because they can't recognize a relatable scenario when it's two men, but because the scenario isn't relatable?

What if they're not looking at gay couples and confusedly asking "Who's the man and who's the woman?" but rather "Who entered into he relationship due to extreme social pressure and who goes out drinking with their coworkers to avoid going home after work?" They can't see themselves reflected in an affectionate relationship between two men because their relationship is a miserable formal arrangement.

And now I want to do a study to see if straight people are actually more accepting of age-gap same-sex relationships, because they perceive a power imbalance that they can relate to in their own relationships.

It's very interesting how many one-page RPGs are just "here's some mechanics." And like, mechanics for what? I don't care how thoroughly you write up the game premise on Itch, it's not a "one-page plus a few paragraphs I couldn't be bothered to fit onto that page" RPG.

So if you have an automatically synced folder with Google Drive, and you want to no longer automatically sync that folder, remove all the items from the folder first or it will literally just keep a phantom version of that folder and all contents in your Drive

Decided to try browsing DriveTruRPG, and it is honestly impressive how consistently that place gets worse. Whatever you search for, whatever filters you use, the results are still basically useless because all the scammers just check every single box, and there's no way to report them.
