The simplest one I found was handing NPCs to players in fights. Or in one game I let the players create their part of the world/history with the idea they would be chosen onto a spaceship, so I could use their backgrounds to write the adventure.

Oddly enough I remember seeing a deep dive from a food channel that the popcorn sensors were never standardized and some microwave popcorn makers even state not to use them on the packet, since they can't promise good results.

Ran this AP. Wasn't the best of them, and wow, that first book was a slog. Got better though, with some gaps I had to fill in. We had more fun with other APs, truth be told, but pirates were fun. Maybe third times the charm for a Paizo Pirate campaign

I hosted a canned cocktail tasting this weekend, and the amount of drinks similar that had 5-6% abv and didn't taste of alcohol was scary. I think these companies are targeting nostalgia flavours and it gets dangerous

My first office job I ended up that route. I converted old Dungeon AP modules from 3.5 to Pathfinder 1e when I have nothing to do. Then my coworkers got worried and the company asked if I was overworked because I seemed to always be busy. Still complained if I went home at 5 though

Oh, totally. More so once I was away, and everything was recorded/documented, the issue was gone. I wish democratizing the office was possible, my coworkers weren't on board. Pretending to do work for hours was their overall solution.

You are completely right. I stopped posting regular whisky reviews to Reddit because it felt like conversation just fell off. And the comments I did receive, while positive, stopped leading to conversation. I blamed AI or bots at the time, but maybe people just stopped thinking I was real.

What the Carneys of the world ignore is even the business case for slashing environmental protections doesn’t work. I work for a small business. We won’t get foot traffic until the smoke clears. No one will buy a coffee, sit on the patio, anything. This hurts business, it’s bad for the economy.
