Is there an app that lets you record your writing and editing progress so you can later prove it was you who wrote the novel? I know draftspersons and painters already do that. But haven’t see a tool for writers yet.

I think it is mostly that writers of any kind have a lot of exposure on the web and it is easy to research & spearphish them? If the angle isn’t money it’s usually „install this please for our chat“ to pawn your computer and steal your crypto.
