This would also help bolster the trade pipeline. Departments like Public Works would employ large nos of apprentices in the knowledge that many of these would move into the private market as tradies. When these depts became contract managers, not builders, these reliable pipelines were lost.

Australia needs a 20/20/2 media consolidation policy. No entity can own more than 20% of of any media sector (paper, tv, radio, etc) OR 20% of total media in the aggregate. Further, no entity can own assets in more than 2 sectors. Online counts as media if it includes news or opinion.
