I'd love to see Fabulous restore the original Postman Pat next, especially with the first title sequence for Series 1 intact. It's long overdue, it's high time.

Honestly, I would be up for Superman IV (which is on the BBC right now) getting the Shada 2017 treatment. Give it some new effects, reinstate some of the stuff that was cut, and add in some animated scenes to recontextualise certain plotlines and the film could potentially be salvaged..

Tinted Who @tinted-who.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Superman III is on BBC Two, I have to say that I actually think this film is worse than S4, purely because it's just boring, unfunny, and Superman is barely even in it. I love Richard Pryor, but the humour in that film simply didn't work either. #Superman

Ralph Bakshi's gorgeous, rotoscoped, and incredibly dark animated version of THE LORD OF THE RINGS (1978) was, at times, like a nightmare to my 9 year-old self. I had particular problems with the creepy Nazgûl, especially during this famous scene...

Icl, one idea that I'd be up for is an X-Men '97 style animated continuation of Classic Who. Something along the lines of "Doctor Who '89", giving us the Seasons 27-30 that never were, Big Finish be damned...

If I was approached to give my take on Doctor Who, right now it's this - make four feature length episodes a year, the Doctor is a Benoit Blanc-esque figure in them where (preferably) she is the only returning element. A few runs of these and we can switch to a serialised arc to finish off. Job done

Truthfully, I don't think Doctor Who will ever fully go away. In fact, if the main show doesn't come back for a while and the Cbeebies Spin-Off is all that left, I think that might be a lot healthier for the franchise, besides it would be full circle given what the Classic Show started out as.

Can't be too sad that the 2026 Christmas Special has been axed, the whole Disney/Neo-RTD Era felt like one big desparate hail mary that went horribly wrong. That said, I'm sure whoever picks up the show in the tender process will bring it in an exciting new direction.

I decided to binge "Ulysses 31" for the first time out of curiosity. I'll admit, with the 80s nostalgia trend from a decade ago, I'm surprised this show hasn't made a comeback yet. I think there's definitely still a place for it as long as they keep the catchy theme song and art style anyway.

I honestly don't know what the best possible solution is. Unless the worst comes to worst, I'll probably have to keep using earlier versions of Blender instead. Given a lot of my VFX work largely involves it and Davinci Resolve, I can't afford to do a full boycott tbh.

What's The Story in #Balamory? This legacy sequel was certainly a fun trip down memory lane. Despite my 00s Nostalgia fatigue, I'm making an exception for this one out of personal bias. I do hope it catches on with the next generation of kids the same way that the original series did with mine.

Josie Jump's regeneration in the original show definitely took everyone by surprise. I wonder if she'll make a return in the new show. She's probably Tri-Generated by now into the vet and Billie Piper, lol. But seriously though, I'm glad Balamory's back, the og show was a real childhood fav of mine.
