A reminder since October/November is usually the month(s) companies bug their employees about changing their health insurance plans if they want. I've come to resent this intensely. Healthcare should not be tied to employment, and healthcare insurance companies shouldn't exist.

Overcoming your cognitive dissonance with exposure and education is always a beautiful thing to behold. It's a hard lesson, and it will mean losing some friends and family along the way who have not taken a similar journey, but that is okay.
