In truck company pockets. “Luxon did not want taxpayer funding going into a “white elephant. Where it makes sense that's really good but you need a concentration of population to make passenger rail work we're very committed to our 17 roads of national significance and we make no apology for that."

Old mate here will never experience a gig (any gig, let alone a great one). He will never experience the joy of meeting someone who likes the same bands he does. He will never share an experience with another person. This is individualism taken to its most unedifying extreme

I got seven, but only by identifying pasta, rice, or potatoes. Struggled to finish it because they all look like something seen on the ground on Courtenay Place after midnight on a Saturday night.

I used to see him and his wife out for walks near where I live in Karori. They would walk next to each other on a really narrow footpath and refuse to move to single file so force me to walk in the road.

You really would think that nations, and even cities for that matter, would rethink the temptation to flirt with far-right populist “reform” politicians selling “change” after watching the corrupt, fascist dumpster fire that is Donald Trump. Hurricanes are change. A flesh-eating disease is change.

Stop calling it a climate problem. Call it what it is: organized greed. The planet isn’t dying. It’s being killed for profit. The killers have names. And boardrooms. #ClimateJustice #StopEcocide

He did some great work in Wellington, New Zealand in 2004 that would’ve made the city a fantastic city to live in and get around. Alas, the Council didn’t follow through on the proposals, cause cars.
