okay so: firstly the music needs to be audible at the back. if you add more speakers at the back, you’ll run into phase cancellation issues and it’ll sound awful secondly, at most small gigs the cymbals aren’t amplified. that’s just how loud they are and everything is balanced relative to that

I grew up in a tiny village where I couldn't leave on my own other than for school (the last bus from the nearest town with more than a pub I wasn't allowed in was my school bus, and it didn't run weekends) I hated my school and everyone at it, and the internet was basically my only respite from it
