Had to take a screen break walk today. Decided to go an investigate the location of what’s known locally as “Kinky Cottage”. Found it, very weird. Anyway, the view on the walk back was lovely. The Vale of Alford is one of my favourite places.

Pretty much impossible to find a petrol station locally that’s selling derv for less than £2.00 per litre. Now having to seriously consider how the business manages this cost. We have 8 fleet vehicles. 2 are EV and one petrol. The rest drink from the black pump. Trump is a moron.

This is the only photograph I’ve really seen of RAF Banff while operational. It’s in the Boyndie Trust centre nearby. Boyndie Aerodrome is now home to Grampian Kart Club and I reckon the clubhouse is roughly where there appears to be a black barrage balloon in the background

Had some business visits to attend on the Moray coast today. I quite enjoy a brief detour to some of the old fishing villages along the rough coastline. Portknockie has a particularly steep & twisty descent to the small harbour.

The new GR kart by Toyota could have just been the answer to the question of what I’d buy now that our son has outgrown his kadet. Except that they’re Japan only and, bigger issue, our local track won’t let us even practice in something that’s not homologated in the UK to race. Which really sucks.
