When I say I "miss" a certain food as a vegan I feel a strong urge to clarify that I DO NOT miss the specific animal-based component. I mean that this would likely be possible (and maybe even good) without the animal part but I'm sad that they put animal parts in it!!

I think one thing that would really help is if one could add or edit alt text after posting. Sometimes people forget (or, like me, have a time-sensitive meme that just cannot wait). Having that option would be way better than expecting them to delete the post altogether.

I was 11 years old on 9/11 and I wasn't phased by it upon first hearing about it. I knew that we bombed other countries. I saw Saddam Hussein on Animaniacs. I assumed other countries bombed us sometimes. My parents had to sit me down to explain why we're above the violence we inflict on others.
