I’ve seen this issue a few times today. Really horrible. If they had crews in the field surely they had enough backlog to complete their contracts? Really wild and not in a good way.

Just posted these over on IG - some mollusk frags in the Topanga Fm in Pasadena for #molluskMonday. They're not pretty but fun to find - looks like oyster frags to me but if anyone knows more please chime in! The Topanga outcrops in the cliffs, and the path during rainy season.

I always bring in advertisements on the first day of my Intro to Art History class to convey how powerful images are and how empowering it is to be able to articulate verbally what they’re doing. The visual violence of the Converse ad is such that I wouldn’t even dare to show it in that class.
