🔬 Did you know that you can measure the size AND shape of your samples, all within the span of a few seconds? The Bettersizer S3 Plus at #GCR can measure particle sizes between 0.01-3500μm, as well as shape parameters (e.g. Length/Diameter, circularity, sphericity) of particles between 2-3500μm.

Pretty upsetting that despite decades of research we’re bound to break 1.5°C! We still have the chance to return to below’ish 1.5°C. “Overshoot is a pathway, not a moment” though as we see around the globe (with a 1/1000yr rain event to the east of me right now) a 1.5°C world is not a safe world.

1st time in the path of a tropical storm since moving here. Glad it’s a small one that’ll be down to a depression by the time it reaches us. Was living here when Hurricane Beryl went overhead but off in the Arctic that time where we watched split screen Beryl at home & an Arctic storm coming for us.
