It took four months, but I cleared the latest Ultimate fight in FFXIV. Dancing Mad Ultimate is done, Kefka has been beaten, and I can finally have my life back.

Quick reminder that there's no stream this weekend.

Sir Thomal @thomal9.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Just as a quick heads up, some things came up this weekend so I won’t be streaming tomorrow. We will get back to the main story of Outer Wilds next week.

Sorry I've been so quiet for the last week or two, work has been absolutely kicking my butt this month. Hopefully things slow down in the coming month and I can catch up on my stream archives and recordings.

Today on everything I touch turns to framing. Cai can start farms in Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave.

Man, the Ocarina remake actually looks really nice. Definitely going to be on my list for this winter.

Oh god I forgot there's a new Natsume Harvest Moon game coming next month. And I have to play it because I locked myself into the farming sim life when I decided to LP a Harvest Moon game on a whim like 15 years ago.

Reimagined Kiefer is the most DLSS 5 looking Dragon Quest character ever. And I love that for him.

Just as a heads up, probably won't be streaming tomorrow. I have to catch up on some work, it's been a very hectic week irl.

Sir Thomal @thomal9.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

The universe really doesnt want me to play Dragon Quest 7. After two failed PS1 playthroughs due to hardware failure and a lost 3DS playthrough, I'm not letting a dirty/bad disc stop me this time.

Really hope they're bringing back a playable Wooly form and their moveset. I want to see a sheep suplex a dragon in HD.

My entry for the Story of Seasons 30th Anniversary Fanworks Contest

Pete, his dog, and 3 chicks walk across a small grassy patch. There are large clouds behind them. The text at the bottom reads "30 Years of Story of Seasons"

It's been 12 hours without power. I'm currently watching the lit up houses down the hill with hate in my heart like the Grinch looking down on Whovile.

It's a shame the GBC Harvest Moon games aren't on the Switch Online service yet. Been in a nostalgic mood for those games recently since those were the first farming sims I ever played.

After a few hours of Splatoon Raiders, I can conclude that hard mode has hands. I might have underestimated how difficult this game can get or just overestimated my rusty Splatoon skills.

FFXIV players can barely do basic addition and subtraction or tell left from right. And now they expect us to spell things correctly? We are so screwed.

Been dogsitting this dummy this week. I moved his bed a little bit to the left two days ago and he still hasn't figured it out.

13) Ghost of Yotei A pretty enjoyable open world game with beautiful environments. I enjoyed the combat and challenge more here when compared to the first game. Although the story does feel a bit rushed in the last act. Also, fourth platinum of the year.

Just as a heads up, probably will be cancelling tomorrow's stream. Had some IRL things come up so I'm not really in the headspace to stream this weekend.

12) Star Fox (Switch 2) A short but enjoyable revisit to Star Fox 64. I do enjoy the expanded story and characterization of the crew but I also kind of miss some of the more cheesy aspects of the original. RIP the iconic Macbeth train engineer.

My five year old nephew pointed this out while watching me play. Andrew, the battle hadn't even started yet, how did you already damage your brand new ship?

I've been going over my footage for some upcoming Grand Bazaar episodes. Looking it over, I need to get better at organizing my stock and timing my burst to maximize sales during the buff window. If I had moved some things around, I might have been able to break a million.

Decided to try a low hit run of Star Fox. On the one hand, it saved Corneria so much money. On the other hand, Star Fox might need to eat Slippy so they can save enough money to afford their next payment on the Great Fox.
