Finally hopped on the '9 Games that Shaped Who I Am' trend. It was so hard to pinpoint games that defined critical moments in my gaming life (not necessarily my favourites). If I had a 10th slot, probably could slot one in for board games, but that didn't feel as significant as these other moments.

1. Pokemon Gold (My love for Pokemon blossomed)
2. Rollercoaster Tycoon (My obsession with simulation games began)
3. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul (The TV game that stood the test of time)
4. Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube was a big era for gaming)
5. MapleStory (My MMO of choice, which also brought out ugly habits in me ie. microtransactions LOL)
6. Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends (the magnum opus of emulation thank you R4 gaming)
7. Animal Crossing: New Leaf (the pinnacle of online community, simulation, and dedication)
8. Mario Kart 8 (how I met my BFFs for life)
9. Donkey Kong Country (tapping into my inner hardcore gamer)

Yyyyyup, got all the Relics in Splatoon Raiders! Took a bit of grinding to beat the final stages, but had a blast figuring out what worked best for me!

Shot up 3 whole ranks after finishing the post-game final dungeon.

Strap in for a long one y’all! But what I’m waiting to see is, will another snowy/icy themed contender make its way to the top of the ladder? ☃️ I’m Joker.

Literally a tier list just for me, but I finished up Maison Ikkoku! Definitely not a show for everyone (you have to put up with a lot of annoying people), but it's such a wonderful love story spanning over five years of Kyoko and Godai's life. It's both silly and grounded at the same time!

Row 1: Kyoko Otonashi, Yusaku Godai, Akemi Roppongi, Shun Mitaka
Row 2: Soichiro the Dog, Asuna Kujou, Kasumi, Ibuki Yagami, Grandma Godai, Hanae Ichinose, Iioka
Row 3: Yotsuya gets his own damn tier
Row 4: Kyoko's parents, Kozue Nanao, Soichiro Otonashi, Kentaro Ichinose, Master, Mr. Otonashi, Ikuko Otonashi, Taro
Row 5: Mr. Yagami & Mrs. Yagami, Mitaka's Uncle, Kozue's Father, Ms. Kamiogi, The Puppet Club (Saotome, Sayoko Kuroki, Koizumi), the Gossiping Tennis Club Ladies (Midori and Yuko)
Row 6: Mr. Ichinose, Godai's parents, Mrs. Otonashi, Asuna's parents, Kozue's mom, Mitaka's parents
Row 7: Zenzaburo Mitsukoshi, Sakamoto, the two random guys (Mitsuo, Toshizo), Ayako

For a show that I only decided to start watching because it has some CLASSIC aesthetic shots, I have been loving my time with Maison Ikkoku. It’s definitely a slow burn of a show, and there’s a LOT of problematic stuff here, annoying characters, but I can’t help but love the journey. 2/3rd done!

Kyoko Otonashi walking through the city streets, total City Pop aesthetic

Alright, alright, these challenges got some hands. I’ll find some time to do ‘em! It was nice that they gave a sample video because otherwise I wouldn’t have figured this out. Although the way I did it, it felt very luck-based and reliant on the CPU which isn’t ideal lol.

Rambi Rumble Challenge Cleared! Took over half an hour to get this.

Race times for the Rowdy race:
1: 28.96 seconds
2: 10.97 seconds
3: 12.58 seconds
Total: 52:51 seconds

mina may be tiny, but she's got a big game! 🐭🍎 i'm about 10 hours in, and i feel like i've barely scratched the surface. this game is only 842 MB, but it's BIG! all the areas feel so well designed, and it really encourages and rewards you for exploring every nook & cranny 💎✨

Finished two areas in Mina the Hollower, and while I am having fun, they really do throw you into the fire hard in this game. Does make a first playthrough exciting, but I’m sure there’s lots of stuff I am missing because I’m trying to figure it all out on the fly.

the artistic process

PANEL 1: a pigeon sits, head thrown back as they yell "i need to drawwww"
PANEL 2: the pigeon sits up, drawing in a sketchbook, a box of crayons next to them. frowning, they say "ugh this sucks"
PANEL 3: the pigeon lays on their front, happily propping one wing on their face and kicking their legs. they're drawing a slice of bread and say "oh wait, i love art"
PANEL 4: the pigeon stands up, head thrown back as they kick a ball of paper. their art is either scribbled out or balled up, the box of crayons knocked over. they angrily say "i hate everything i've ever made!!!"
