They can familiarize you with the actual mechanic for sure, but they can often be janky on top of not replicating healing/mit/damage rotations you'll be doing. It reduces cognitive load for sure but doesn't completely replace it. 000 0

Whenever I hit throw, shadow blade is greyed out. The text of the spell even says “the shadow blade cannot leave the caster’s person” 100 1
