I never realized how much I use the em dash until a producer asked that I double check my spacing across my entire script. They were right, btw— I am grammatically inconsistent. (See what I did there? That's incorrect. You want a space on either side — Or—no spaces.)

One thing I've been doing for my mental health is watching people (on YT) watch my fav movies for the 1st time. Watching a gaggle of dudes in their 20s discover My Neighbor Totoro, or your average (not screenwriter-brained) couple watch and discuss The Blair Witch Project is eye-opening &wholesome.

My 5yo has been obsessed with Yokai Watch since she was a baby, so for every xmas & birthday, I'd import toys & merch from Japan. Then the idiot businessman wrecking the economy put tariffs on small parcels, so I have to get creative this year. I got started early and handmade her a kappa.
