I was standing on the bridge watching a heron fishing in the Lea, when it suddenly took off. I’m always awestruck by the size of their wingspan and unexpected grace in flight.

I saw a kestrel perched on a lamppost, and as I walked over a magpie chased it away. But luckily the kestrel landed on another post nearby and I managed to get some photos before it flew off. #birds #birdphotography #londonbirds #nature #wildlife

I finally managed to get a photo of a kingfisher!!! I know it’s not the sharpest - it was far away on the opposite river bank, and low light. Definitely not up to @londonkingfishers.bsky.social high standard! But I’m absolutely over the moon!!!

Ready for The Grateful Dead Movie yesterday at BFI IMAX 💀 🌹 💃 🍿 It’s a documentary of the 1974 Winterland shows, and some band and fan interviews. I absolutely loved it ❤️ The parts with the shows felt like you were actually there!
