Just remembered a fun story about my first dog. He once woke himself up with his own fart. He opened his eyes, literally sniffed the air, then fixed me with the dirtiest look that I've ever seen on a dog before getting up and walking away.

I grew up with dogs. My first, Paddie, was a golden Labrador that my parents brought home when I was 3. We bonded HARD. He was my friend for 13 years, until he developed hip dysplasia and epilepsy. I came home from school one day and he… wasn't there. For years, that was the worst day of my life.

I have been reading Clever Polly and the Stupid Wolf to the Small Llama, and she's completely in love with it. Mind you, it took me forever to come up with a voice for the damned wolf. Eventually settled on a bad impression of David Mitchell, which fits the stress if not the intelligence.

Found that one of our UAT testers on a project has added a customer account in the name of Albus Dumbledore. Because I am a grown-up, I changed "Albus'" gender to female and set his correspondence address to that of Mermaids UK.

Well, I have my first complaint about #Nighthawks; on the Steam Deck, even with High Contrast on, the highlights on main menu options aren't distinct enough. I just selected Delete Character by mistake and managed to confirm deletion trying to cancel it. Guess I'm starting again. Tomorrow. *sigh*
