the problem with "is [x] genocide" discourse is that people frequently find themselves saying "well x can't be genocide because if it is that means genocide is fairly common". but an honest perusal of the historical record will say yes, it is, it's very common and has been for all of recorded time

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.
