Honestly it takes so much less work to make adjustments as part of the classroom structure & environment rather than make them as individual changes for each child who needs them. I have to make way less individual adjustments for the majority of my pupils, so really it's workload reduction too.

Crazy Rupert Lowe has a new angle. Ban folic acid in flour. Follows a mandate that all non-wholemeal wheat flour must be fortified with synthetic folic acid (vitamin B9) by the end of December 2026 to prevent upward of 200 neural tube birth defects including spina bifida and anencephaly each year
The official petition to end the mandatory
fortification of white flour with folic acid
has just hit 100k.

Great news.

It helps me take the fight to the
establishment in Parliament

Let's end it.

There is something deeply ironic about Study Mode: a feature designed to stop students from taking a cognitive shortcut contains a shortcut itself. And that is far from the most worrying finding in a new assessment of ChatGPT for teens. wp.me/p2nWPo-6gb

When people say that the U.S. should learn how to protest from the French, it erases the numerous marches for civil rights, including year long boycott, that got results. We live in the backlash. Also, Latin American countries had as many protests and uprisings, often brutally put down with help*.
