This chart made our whole team cheer. 👏 Turn on shielding → watch your origin traffic flatten into a smooth, optimized dream. That’s exactly what happened for the @rustfoundation.org when they enabled shielding on Fastly Compute. The before/after? VERY satisfying. #FastForward

Don’t quite get people who live tweet F1 races … surely anyone who cares is either watching already or is going to be pissed about the spoilers. I mean - I’d get it if it was commentary or colour but it’s just a statement of what’s happening: “Alice overtook Bob!” … gee, thanks!

Around 8:30 last night I was on my phone looking for restaurant reservations for later in the week via Opentable when suddenly I got a notification “Coming up: reservation at [restaurant] at 9:00pm - it will take 15 minutes to get there”. What?! Did I accidentally reserve dinner for tonight?

Me (sarcastically): I bet THIS will be a thoughtful and nuanced take on this subject from a man who has been frequently and spectacularly wrong about many, many subjects, even those he is purportedly an expert in. Narrator: It Was Not

I had FSA money left over so I bought an Oura Ring at the end of the year and it’s great because now, at 3am when I can’t sleep, I can look at the app which will show data telling me that I have insomnia.

“You will be visited by three spirits” The three spirits:
The picture shows the three puppet protagonists of the British kids tv show Rainbow from the 1980s - George, Zippy and Bungle.

Bungle is a bipedal brown bear, noticeably taller than the other two. George is a pink hippopotamus type creature with prominent eyelashes and Zippy is orange with an oval shaped head and a mouth that is a a zippered opening. I believe he’s suppose to resemble a pajama case.

If we want better fashion culture in the US, we have to lower the cost of housing and commercial real estate, support independent craftspeople, build denser neighborhoods, improve walkability, and get rid of overly restrictive zoning laws. Let kook culture thrive.

Commensurately, donation records to christian institutions should be made public (especially as they are lobbying orgs), and anyone who has funded this systemic abuse should be held accountable with both the churches and the abuse-funders aggressively taxed.

The reason christians are using “groomer” panic as the specific means of attacking trans people is because their institutions & leaders are, rightly, synonymous with systematic sexual abuse of children, and they want to misdirect and project their crimes onto a group they’re targeting.
